MARIE-CHRISTINE CABIÉ

Marie-Christine Cabié is a French psychiatrist and psychotherapist. She has spent her entire career in psychiatry, both in inpatient and outpatient settings. She initially trained in systemic family therapies, has worked with Luc Isebaert since 1980, and contributed to the creation of
the Bruges model. She is a founding member of the EBTA (Paris 1993). She has participated in the development of SFT and the Bruges model in the French language, particularly in France and Switzerland. She has published articles and books on systemic therapy, SFT, and the Bruges model, including two co-authored with Luc Isebaert. She currently has a private practice and conducts training and supervision sessions. She is editor of the journal «Thérapie Familiale» at Editions Medecine & Hygiène ( CH- Genève) and director of the «Relations» series at Éditions Erès ( F- Toulouse).
